Materials
White paper
Hot glue
Half inch round wooden beads
Twine
Step 1
Cut the paper into two pieces, each about 6’ x 8”.
Step 2
Accordion fold two pieces of paper into ½” folds.
Step 3
Fold the top third of one folded paper to the left and the other to the right. When placed side-by-side, they will form the body and wings of the angel.
Step 4
Make a 6” loop of twine and thread it through the bead. Tie a knot above and below the bead to hold it in place on the twine (a little hot glue inside the bead can also help secure it). The bead will be the angel’s head.
Step 5
Place the bead and twine between the two sides of the paper angel and hot glue in place.
Step 6
When the glue dries, cut each side of the wings diagonally toward the body of the angel on both sides and trim the bottom of the skirt if needed.
Step 7
Use a dab of hot glue to glue the wings to the body.
Step 8
When the glue dries, separate the wing folds slightly to make the ornament appear fluffier.
