How to Wrap a Candle
Wrap Cylinders Like a Pro

Step 1
Measure the wrapping paper so that it goes around the cylinder. Leave about half the diameter of the cylinder at the top and bottom. If your cylinder is tapered, add an additional inch to either end. Wrap the entire cylinder.
Step 2
Place the candle on its base and begin making pleats in the wrapping paper at the top of the cylinder. Repeat all the way around.
Step 3
To make the final pleat, you may need to unfold the previous couple of pleats so that they lie flat. Secure with tape, and repeat the pleating process on the bottom of the candle.
Step 4
Center the ribbon across the top of the wrapped candle and pull it taut.
Step 5
Flip the candle over, wrapping the ribbon around the entire candle. Twist at the bottom, then bring the ribbon around to the top again so that it spreads on four sides of the cylinder. Tie a bow on top of the candle.
Step 6
Thread the jingle bells onto the twine or another piece of ribbon and secure to the candle by tying around the know of the existing bow.
