How to Wrap a Wine Bottle in Pleats

Materials 

• Wrapping paper

• Ribbon

• Tape

• Scissors

Step 1

Measure the wrapping paper from halfway down the bottom of the bottle up to the top of the bottle. 

Step 2

Accordion fold the wrapping paper into 12 strips 2" wide.

Step 3

Cut the folded wrapping paper to separate the strips.

Step 4

Tape the top of one strip to the bottle's center, then wrap it around and tape it to the bottom. 

Step 5

Continue taping strips until the bottle is covered.

Step 6

Tuck the final strip under the first strip. Fold the tail under on the paper on the bottle.

Step 7

Tie a ribbon around the neck of the bottle.

Step 8

Add a tag on a small piece of twine and tie it around the ribbon knot.
